The Challenge

Bronwyn, a tenant, reported to her property agent that the home had mould issues affecting her health. Upon visiting, we conducted a thorough inspection and follow-up report.

We provided clear, simple education on mould management so Bronwyn could take proactive steps to protect her health. Despite our assessment, another company was later engaged for mould cleaning. However, our inspection conflicted with their findings, leading the agent and landlord to seek further validation of the work quality.

Bronwyn’s health concerns and trust in the process required careful, transparent communication and a reliable solution.

Our Approach

After our report, the agent and landlord reached out, requesting credentials to verify our qualifications, which we readily provided. They then asked for additional guidance, which we offered while respecting the confidentiality of our original client’s information.

When the landlord asked us to conduct lab testing to confirm the other company's cleaning effectiveness, results showed their work was insufficient. As trust in the previous service waned, the tenant requested our team to follow our established mould protocol. After our thorough remediation, the effectiveness of our work was confirmed, leading to additional assignments for six more units in the complex.

The Result

With the property thoroughly remediated, Bronwyn felt confident returning home, reassured by our commitment to health-focused cleaning practices.

The successful mould removal restored the tenant’s trust and improved her health, resulting in renewed tenancy and rental payments. The landlord, satisfied with the reliable outcome, noted, "I should have gone with you, Glenn."
